Ports de les Illes Balears announces an extension to the mooring reservation period until October 15th at four low-impact buoy fields. Specifically, these are the mooring fields with the highest demand: s'Espalmador and Caló de s'Oli in Formentera, and Sant Elm and Formentor in Mallorca. The extension aims to protect the marine environment in anticipation of increased demand in these areas in the coming days.
On the other hand, the mooring reservation service has also been extended to all the buoy fields managed by the Balearic Islands Government until this Sunday, October 1st. The service was originally scheduled to end today, September 30th, but Ports IB has decided to extend it this weekend due to the favorable weather forecast, which may lead to increased demand.
